Collection: CALMANTHOLOGY

A brand launched in 2018 SS by designer Makoto Kaneko, who has earned high acclaim for making shoes that incorporate various techniques, from modes to classics.

The brand name Calmanthology is a coined word of "CALM" and "ANTHOLOGY", meaning "a collection of poetry without words", and it is said that Mr. Kaneko thought of it when he saw Atget's work.

In the silence, things and unspoken worlds are cut out, and shoemaking is superimposed on Atget's philosophy, which is a belief that has remained separate from the changes of the times.

Calmanthology has the concept of "tradition and evolution."
