The motif is based on shoes worn in the rockabilly style of the 50s. Rockabilly music was derived from the blues, and this shape is reminiscent of a design that allowed for easy bending and stretching during swing dancing and twisting at the time. The shoes feature a distinctive two-tiered part at the bending point, and while it is rational, the pattern provides strength to support the foot and prevents excessive wrinkling. The design is full of the style of the time, focusing on the aesthetic sense of the feet while not being bound by classical shapes.
