Following yesterday, today I'm going to talk about the "Green" colorway of our exclusive
"Hand-Embroidered Stripe
Long Sleeve T-Shirt"
collaboration with KHOKI!
I wrote about the item details and the other color, "Navy," in yesterday's blog, so if you haven't read it yet, please be sure to check it out!
Moving right along to the Green, as I mentioned yesterday, while I find the Navy to have a chic impression,
the Green feels more casual.
White highlights the casual green
color tone.
It's a color combination you might have
seen before in stripes, but thanks to the width of the stripes and the accent on the chest,
it feels familiar and easy to pick up, yet you can still enjoy it as a fresh piece.
For the styling in the photo, I chose a denim jacket as a foolproof pairing.
Just like the inline Brown version, it would look cool with a denim setup, but
this time I chose slacks and a shirt to add a clean impression.
For this styling, I also kept complementary colors in mind; it pairs well with these IRENISA
slacks (DARK BROWN) which are the counterpart to green,
and choosing black pants to go for a chic look is also a great option.
Personally, I think the green stripe is an item that really expands your styling range
when you use it as an accent—layering a jacket or shirt over it—rather than wearing it on its own!
Beyond denim jackets,
it also pairs well with nylon items from blurhms,
making it perfect as a pop of color to elevate an all-black outfit.
To be honest, while I created a contrast between Green and Navy for this blog post,
the truth is that both are incredibly versatile (lol).
While color is a matter of preference,
even with the same fabric and pattern, a different color completely changes the impression it gives off.
This item will make your current wardrobe look "fresh and different," which is why
I personally think it's fun to choose a color you wouldn't normally reach for, rather than the ones you're already used to wearing.
Of course, feel free to pick up both colors! (lol)
