In January 2025, Taro Horiuchi of th products was appointed as the new creative director of kolor, succeeding the founder and designer Junichi Abe.

Horiuchi enrolled at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 2003, graduating at the top of his class in 2007, and launched his menswear brand th products in the 2018 autumn/winter season.
