The CLASIK V-neck skipper knit has been a huge hit!
We prepared the largest quantity ever for a The CLASIK item,
but we are already down to our last few pieces.
It's really gone way too fast, haha.
That's hardly surprising, given that it uses the finest cotton-cashmere blend,
yet it’s priced at an incredibly reasonable, almost disproportionate value.
Today, I’m going to talk all about this knit!

To start with, the price of ¥33,000 + tax is crazy.
The CLASIK is a brand that shows true craftsmanship, with a strict rule against online sales to ensure people understand their British-modern aesthetic, which is deeply rooted in their commitment to fabric and tailoring.
Because of this, many of their items are on the pricier side, so I still don't understand how they managed this price point, especially with the use of cashmere.
Of course, it’s not that the quality is low because it’s cheap—on the contrary, it’s exceptionally good!
It has a slightly tighter fit than the wool version that was so popular and sold out immediately last year, and I can confidently recommend this even to those who think, "Isn't it too late in the season for knits?"
Unlike the warm knits for AW, this is cotton-based. It retains the signature softness of a knit but can be worn like a sweatshirt from now until around April or May.
By blending cashmere into the cotton, it’s soft enough for those who usually find knits itchy, and the luster of the cashmere—which cotton alone can’t achieve—gives it a warmth that feels perfectly suited for this time of year as we transition from winter to spring.
That’s The CLASIK for you—they’ll have you talking endlessly about the fabric alone, haha.
Aside from the excellent fabric, the problem everyone is struggling with the most is which color to choose, haha.
I can certainly understand the dilemma, but I’m drawn to the IVORY.
The BLACK V-neck is a safe bet.
It’s perfect for anyone and so easy to wear that I feel like I’d end up reaching for this knit every single day.
However, from a fashion perspective and as a spring item, I am very much drawn to the softer look of the IVORY.
By the way, Kent-san went ahead and bought both colors, haha.
The more mature you are, the more The CLASIK draws you in and captivates you.
