and I'd like to introduce the item that has been
getting the most attention.

Rather than the rugged, masculine look
of a typical American casual shirt,
this is an item you'll want to enjoy
during the refreshing spring and summer seasons ahead.
While the color and check pattern
might give off a casual and weighty impression,
it feels refreshing when you see it in person...
I know that sounds contradictory,
but there is a real reason for it.
That reason is... the material!
This shirt uses lyocell and viscose
(a type of rayon).
We had this question during yesterday's Instagram live,
but are you familiar with the material called lyocell?
Simply put, it's a regenerated fiber
made from wood pulp (primarily eucalyptus),
and although it's a type of rayon,
it's produced using a more environmentally
friendly manufacturing process.
It is characterized by its incredibly soft texture,
a beautiful drape, and an attractive, silk-like
luster!
It also has excellent moisture absorption,
making it comfortable to wear even in the hot summer heat—a major plus.
This check shirt perfectly showcases the lyocell
material we often see in ssstein pieces.
It's a regular-collar shirt featuring an original
ombre check pattern with a unique luster and drape
different from conventional rayon, while also being durable.
Although it is a casual check, the unique qualities
of this material give it an elegant, soft look
that balances out the "ruggedness" typically
found in vintage clothing.
