Hello! I'm Haru, a fashion fanatic!
As previously announced, today I'll be
introducing "a certain item" from that brand!
Without further ado, here is the item
I'll be talking about today!
Marvine Pontiak Shirt Makers
-Easy Shorts-
col.Orange ST
col.Pink ST
Marvine is a brand we've carried
since the opening of sign,
and they still have a dedicated
fan base today.
It's a brand specialized in shirts
that focuses on domestic production,
achieving a high standard in comfort,
durability, and design alike.
And from that Marvine...
they've finally delivered some shorts!!
I've been watching Marvine since we opened,
but this is the first time they've ever released shorts!
The brand creates shirts meant for
"adding a quiet sense of excitement to daily life,"
geared towards those seeking everyday wear
that they can cherish for a long time.
The design is quite simple, and honestly,
they don't use ridiculously complex patterns
or feature any gimmicks.
That is precisely why the solid quality,
fitting for an adult's wardrobe, stands out,
creating an item with depth that reveals
various nuances through its expressions.
You can keep it casual by simply pairing them
with a long-sleeve tee, a shirt,
or a short-sleeve tee with some jewelry.
Even though they are a striped pattern,
they are easy to incorporate and perfect
as an accent for your styling.
This is just my personal feeling,
but if a student were to wear these, it might end up
looking "too vintage" or it might feel a bit young,
making it hard to fully bring out the charm of the item.
Thinking back on why people say they dislike shorts,
reasons like "showing legs," "hard to style,"
and "looking like a boy" often come up.
The pair I'm introducing today has a longer length,
so I feel that the "boyish" concern is minimized.
Furthermore, the cotton material—a hallmark of Marvine—
which has undergone washing and tumble processing,
creates that sophisticated, relaxed look for adults.
They feel great against the skin and the texture
improves the more you wear them,
allowing them to break in and evolve
into your very own pair.
I believe the most important element for shorts
is "comfort," and with Marvine's fabric that
adapts and changes each time you wear it,
there's really nothing to complain about.
As we head into summer, there will be more
occasions for shorts, like outings, trips,
outdoor activities, and festivals.
That's exactly why we want to choose something comfortable,
yet we still want to enjoy fashion—this item is perfect for us.
Honestly, don't you think just pairing these shorts
with a white long-sleeve tee is stylish enough?
In the city, like Umeda, you can dress them up with a layer,
and for travel or outdoor scenes,
you can dress them down casually with a T-shirt.
The vibe changes depending on where you're headed,
but that "summer feel" remains constant.
If you prefer a more mode-inspired, sharp look,
or if you have a general resistance to shorts,
I recommend the shorts from ssstein.
Those shorts feel like dress slacks that have been cropped,
making them easy to wear and style,
so anyone can enjoy them.
Both Marvine and ssstein use easy-waist designs
for comfort, but their fabrics are completely opposite,
which makes it interesting and really a matter of preference.

Personally, I see ssstein as being "cool,"
while I see Marvine as being "fashionable."
A week ago, a customer chose these Marvine shorts
along with a kolor sweatshirt as a set.
With the relaxed, pajama-like comfort,
it was more of an active, mature take
rather than just a casual one.
They mentioned they were going on a trip during Golden Week,
so wearing them in a rough, daily way without
trying too hard to be "city" is just right.
Though simple in appearance,
these shorts are balanced to truly make a statement.
Please, come and try them on!
I'll be waiting at the shop again tomorrow.
