Following yesterday, today I'd like to introduce
some recommended innerwear items!
Personally, this is at the top of my list of
items I want in the store right now,
and although I already own three shirts from this brand,
it's so addictive that I want more every year!!
Let's get right into it!
OVERCOAT
-Zip-up Shirt-
I've introduced this on the blog many times,
and it is my absolute favorite item of clothing.
Actually, before I became into fashion,
it was an item I disliked.
Back in my student days, it had a strong association
with things you had to wear to school or work,
and I hated that formality.
(I hated that formality so much that I didn't even want a job where I had to wear suits or shirts, haha)
It's profound to think that a shirt I once disliked
has now become my number one item
just by being recontextualized through "fashion."
When it's viewed through the lens of fashion, the
fit, color, and fabric change,
turning it into a one-of-a-kind piece.
Standard shirts have rules like "you must tuck it in"
or "you must button it all the way up,"
but fashion has no such rules.
I used to limit my own individuality, but
now it's an item that expresses it.
So, new shirts have arrived from the brand
that offers the shirts I love most
as someone who truly cherishes them!!
I'm addicted to the silhouette and fabric
of OVERCOAT shirts, which no other brand can match,
and I find myself wanting them every season.
The fabric this time is also
incredibly good!
It uses very fine fine merino (80-count double yarn)
made from high-quality long-staple fibers,
giving it a supple texture
and a light, refreshing feel despite being wool.
Because it's 80-count, the fabric isn't just thin
and slick;
you can feel a dense thickness within the lightness of the wool,
giving it a luxurious, high-end feel.
You might think, "If it's a bit thick, isn't it hot?"
but don't worry!
Wool has some interesting properties,
and because of how effective they are,
it's often called "nature's air conditioner."
That property is its temperature regulation function,
which adjusts based on skin condition and
external factors.
When it's hot, it cools you down through the slow evaporation of sweat,
keeping the temperature inside the garment comfortable.
So it can be worn in the summer without issues,
and since it's wrinkle-resistant and releases odors easily,
it also doesn't get stuffy with sweat!
The functionality is impressive on its own,
but what really catches the eye is
the zipper that shines like jewelry.
Using top-tier EXCELLA zippers,
this beautifully gleaming piece shows a side of the shirt
that's never been seen before, allowing it to be worn like outerwear.
There's a solid reason why it's not thin but thick:
it was designed to have a side that acts like an outer layer.
It's precisely because of the moderate thickness that
the beauty of the zipper stands out even more,
and the way the neckline opens, combined with the weight of the zipper,
gives it a mature look that I just love!
Of course, it's also easy to use as an inner layer,
which is the main topic of this blog,
and this shirt...
can even be worn as a high-neck!!

I'm amazed at how high the functionality and design are (haha).
This item is a shirt that goes
beyond the category of a shirt.
It will definitely be an active piece
