Hello! I'm Haru, a total clothing geek!
Today marks the end of the
vowels POP-UP event,
and I am so grateful to the many people
who came to see it over the past week.
Whether you were already a fan or
discovered them through this event,
seeing you all appreciate the charm
of the vowels products
made this a very satisfying week for me
as a clothing geek, haha.

And the item I’m introducing today
is a short-sleeve T-shirt by KHOKI,
which makes a statement even when worn alone.

It comes in two colors:
BROWN and BLACK,
but it’s not just the colors that differ;
the stripe patterns are also
completely different, making it hard to choose...
Actually, you might just end up
wanting both!
The BROWN version features multi-pitch stripes,
which may seem a bit pop at first glance,
but it carries a wonderful balance of colors
and a classical atmosphere typical of KHOKI.
The BLACK version has basic
black and white stripes.
Unlike the BROWN one,
this has a different vibe;
it's subtle yet has a strong presence,
drawing you in with its simple charm.
Although this is a striped T-shirt
proposed by a modern brand,
it has a somewhat vintage-like
impression to it.
Both colors are great, but the design on the chest
really helps "highlight" those qualities.
Based on a checkered fabric,
it features hand-embroidery of a building motif,
and by incorporating the word "School,"
it feels like a work of art in itself.
The warmth and dimensionality unique to
non-uniform hand embroidery
have a crafted feel that you don't find
in mass-produced clothing,

for a design collective that pours respect, passion,
and soul into their clothing.
Also, the fabric has a nice weight to it,
so you feel secure wearing it on its own,
but it’s also versatile enough
to serve as a main piece in spring/autumn
and an inner layer in winter.
Although the design itself has a strong presence,
it’s surprisingly easy to style.
You can pair it with wide slacks for a slightly
elegant look, or dress it down with denim or cargo pants.
