Hello! I'm Haru, a total clothing nerd!
Hippobloo sandals,
selling at least 5 pairs a day guaranteed.
Thanks to many of you choosing them,
we're even sold out of some sizes.
The wide variety of colors,
the comfort of wearing them,
and... the exceptional price.
I'm sure these three factors are why people are choosing them, but
lately, in international snaps and
collections, styling flip-flops with
dressy items is becoming a trend!
In terms of style categories, they are total opposites.
That's exactly why they complement each other—
within the crisp impression of dressy wear,
flip-flops add a nice touch of laid-back ease.
Personally, I've been in the mood to pair slacks
with flip-flops this summer, so the timing is perfect!
Since some customers at the store were also wondering
how to style sandals,
today I'm introducing a few
reference styles!
First is a look featuring
a standard combination of an IRENISA set-up
dressed down with sandals.
This is the combination I personally most want to wear right now.
Normally, at sign, we would wear leather shoes here,
but we're "daring" to go with sandals instead.
It creates a relaxed vibe and makes it easy
to add contrast, which is why it works for this season.
The interesting thing about this styling is,
the sense of balance when combining
opposing items—
the mood derived from the addition and subtraction
of mode and casual elements is quite good.
For the second style,
a look with a kolor blouson paired with slacks
and tied together with sandals.
The point of this styling is that
the beige of the blouson and
the brown of the slacks
can be kept in warm tones from top to bottom,
and since the blouson's sailor collar detail
features purple accents,
I chose navy for the feet.
By doing this, it's not just about adding
lightness to the feet;
you can also add contrast through
texture and color.
Adding "intended" nuances to even
casual styling makes it
much deeper.
Of course, it's not a must to pair
sandals with dressy items;
there are various ways to use them.
For example, pairing a th nylon shirt with
kolor shorts
and sandals for a sporty vibe.
Since it's fashion,
there is no definitive "right" way.
Sticking to the style you freely want to wear
is the coolest thing you can do.
I'm sure everyone has their own version of "right," but
the style we think is cool right now is
pairing dressy items with
flip-flops, so I really hope you'll give it a try.
If you can change the impression of the items you own
and broaden your styling range for just ¥2,300+tax,
I'd say that's a pretty good deal.
Get them while you can!!
