Following yesterday's blog post, today I’d like to introduce a special pair of shoes that are dear to me—shoes that not only pair perfectly with setups but also support my daily life by matching a wide variety of items.

I’m sure all of you sign heavy users associate CALMANTHOLOGY with the TEDS SHOES, but according to the designer, Mr. Kaneko, this model is actually considered a bit of a niche style within the CALMANTHOLOGY lineup.
To start with, starting this season, CALMANTHOLOGY is shifting towards a line inspired by a word coined by Mr. Kaneko from “pege.”
The collection is named
“EMARUIRA.”
A one-of-a-kind creation by designer Shin Kaneko, representing “the gaps, scents, flickers, and ephemerality that spill out from the passion of improvisation.”
TEDS SHOES aren't actually part of that collection’s lineup, and we are just about the only store in the country that carries them.
Why were we able to carry an item from a past collection? It’s simply because we at sign love the "TEDS SHOES" so deeply.
Every single member of our staff wears them. We fell in love with their beauty—a dress-base design that retains the rebellious vibe reminiscent of 50's Teddy Boy style—and above all, the fact that they can be paired with anything: denim, sweatpants, chinos, you name it.
Whether for a formal ceremony, a date, or just hanging out, these are the ideal leather shoes for any scene. We were so captivated that, before we knew it, they became the signature footwear of sign.
Understanding our passion, we were given the special opportunity to carry the TEDS SHOES at sign, even though they wouldn't normally be available.
That is just how essential the TEDS SHOES are to sign.
Actually, the TEDS SHOES were what got me hooked on CALMANTHOLOGY, and I’m now approaching my fourth year of owning them.
Back when I was just a customer looking for leather shoes that would go well with a cool setup or my usual outfits for special occasions like coming-of-age ceremonies or graduation, I found CALMANTHOLOGY.
I still remember the excitement I felt when I first slipped them on, feeling a bit awkward in leather shoes but thrilled by the change in my overall vibe.
The leather shoes I bought for a “special” day eventually turned my ordinary life into something “special,” and now they have become an essential pair that supports my day-to-day life.
