Hello! I’m Haru, a fashion geek!
We’ve already received a lot of buzz
about the new denim from BISOWN.
Let’s start with the price:
¥33,000+tax.
I say this every time,
but BISOWN denim is
just way too cheap!!
And it’s not just about the low price;
you can truly feel the high quality, too.
I personally own
BISOWN denim myself,
and it has a perfect balance that isn’t too casual,
plus a simple design that’s easy to
incorporate into your everyday life.
It’s not your typical rugged men’s pair;
it captures a sense of dignified strength
within a softness that only a female designer can express.
There’s no way the new denim that just arrived
from BISOWN wouldn’t be amazing.
In this blog, I’m going to talk all about
what makes it so appealing!
My introduction has gone on a bit long,
so let’s get right to the item.
BISOWN
-BISOWN PAINTER DENIM-
Let me talk about the fabric this time—
it uses denim from a long-established manufacturer
that has been in operation since the early 1900s.
Not only do they have a long history and great technique,
but they also have a policy that really resonates with fashion lovers.
That is:
“Rather than mass-producing to make a profit,
we value creating value-added goods,
even if it means sacrificing production efficiency.”
High turnover, low margin.
While that mindset is spreading in today’s world,
they strictly insist on quality
and don’t just create things you can find anywhere—
they create things that you can only get “if you come here.”
That’s exactly why it has value
and a one-of-a-kind appeal.
While this denim uses thick warp yarns,
the yarn shape and slack twist
give it a light and gentle texture.
The clear blue from the pure indigo
is also a key feature.
Pure indigo—
unlike chemically synthesized
“synthetic indigo” which offers a vibrant, consistent color,
it has a depth you can truly appreciate.
You could enjoy the beautiful, crisp color for a while and wait for the fading,
or you could wash it heavily to fade it out and bring out that softness—either way works.
It uses the same warp yarn as the classic denim,
but by changing the count of the weft yarn,
it has just the right 13oz weight and drape,
making it a pair you can pick for daily wear starting right now.
And this new model is based on 30's
painter denim,
but modified in a modern way
that is quintessentially BISOWN.
With a wide silhouette that skips the back yoke,
and stitching that matches the color of the fabric,
it doesn’t look too casual
and creates an elegant, shaded look.
Since it’s getting hot and outfits tend to get simple this time of year,
the tool pocket details add a subtle accent to your styling.
In-store sales start tomorrow,
and while the ONLINE SITE release is next Friday, 7/17,
there’s a good chance they’ll be sold out by then.
This is an item a lot of people are eyeing,
so if you’re interested,
please come check them out this weekend!
