Hello! I'm Haru, a fashion enthusiast!
Yet another one of the brands I've been looking forward to
has delivered some incredible items!!
The brand is vowels.
It's a street brand launched by Yuki Yagi and Haley Champoux,
who have worked on various brands including the
US-based "MONTMARTRE NEW YORK."
Operating out of both the US and Japan,
vowels proposes luxury items that add color to daily life,
with a focus on high-quality Japanese fabrics and manufacturing.
Their 26AW collection has just arrived!
This is a brand I've been paying a lot of attention to personally,
not just for their SNS promotions or their unique
way of presenting their styling,
but because, although it's a street brand, I'm drawn to
the Japanese spirit that lies at its core.
It's craftsmanship based on the process of our predecessors,
who developed Japanese performing arts and culture by respecting the philosophy of "Shuhari,"
a term used in arts like the Japanese tea ceremony and martial arts.
"Shuhari" consists of three stages:
"Shu," to faithfully learn and adhere to the teachings of a master or school;
"Ha," to further develop your mind and technique by incorporating new elements;
and "Ri," to create something entirely new and original.
By applying this "Shuhari" philosophy,
they engage in constant experimentation and reinterpretation,
proposing unique items with an approach that fits the times.

I was captivated by these one-of-a-kind items that follow
the vibe of the US, the home of street culture, while utilizing
Japan's historic knowledge and techniques.
With the theme of "Perfect Day,"
the vowels 26AW collection features a lineup
centered on deep colors like moss green and burgundy.
Including items that adopt motifs such as the tulip paintings
of artist Frans Everbag,
the collection seamlessly connects city life to weekend travel.
I'll save the detailed breakdown of the items
for tomorrow.
Make sure to look forward to tomorrow's blog!
