Hello! I'm Haru, a fashion fanatic!

The information has finally been released for the
sign 7th Anniversary Item.

Now that the full picture has been revealed,

we've been receiving some wonderful reactions
on YouTube and Instagram!

We have prepared two items
for this anniversary.

From KHOKI, we have the

cardigan that has already been
receiving a lot of inquiries,

and from our new brand,

"YUTASETOGAWA," which we will
be carrying starting from the 26AW season,

a special bag will be delivered!!

Today, I'd like to narrow down the items
and start by talking about KHOKI.

Let’s dive right in.

KHOKI×sign
-Wool knit cardigan for sign-
col.Red

col.Black

col.Gray

This is a new item that adapts the design of the
no-collar jacket, a staple from KHOKI,

into a knit cardigan for this season.

The inline version of this item
has already received a lot of buzz,

and customers have asked me

"Will you be carrying this item?!"
on several occasions,

but at the time, I could only tell them
"Please wait" haha.

I am finally released from that spell
and can speak about it!

The ultimate bespoke item has arrived!!

This Wool knit cardigan

has had an incredibly high level of perfection since the exhibition stage,

taking the no-collar design that has been a staple
for several seasons and adapting it for this season.

The theme of the 26AW collection is
"Things that felt boring during childhood"

The landscapes and streetscapes of the countryside
from back when we were little.

What would happen if we expressed, through the lens of KHOKI,
the perspective we didn't have as children

now that we have grown into adults?

That is the sentiment woven into this
26AW collection.

The roots of this lie in the director's hometown,

a town in Yamanashi called Kiyosato.

It is a place where, amidst expansive Japanese mountains and rural scenery,

remnants of American culture, such as ranches, churches, and folk art, still remain.

"It's Japan, yet it feels somewhat American."

But it is not completely
American, either.

It is this mysterious scenery that birthed the American quilt, which could be called a symbol of KHOKI,

and while it roots itself in traditional American culture,

it overlays it with the nature and sensibilities of Japan.

The raw, earthy warmth of American culture, expressed through Japan's unique delicacy and aesthetic sense.

Though they seem completely different at first glance,

by blending together,

they create an ambiguous expression
that cannot be clearly defined as either.

Perhaps that ambiguity is the very essence of "KHOKI-ness."

This cardigan perfectly reflects that background,

and for this bespoke item, we have added bead
decorations to the chest to make it a special piece

that evokes the "warmth of human hands."

A cardigan is something everyone has worn
at least once.

Whether it was during your school days,

or perhaps wearing one when going out as an adult,
the occasions are wide and varied.

When I wore a cardigan in my school days,
I felt like I was trying to act older,

wanting to look a bit more mature,

so I wore it with a bit more
pretense than usual.

Now, that feeling is gone,

and I can treat it naturally as a basic element
within my own wardrobe.

When I put on the KHOKI cardigan,

I felt a touch of "childhood,"
not in a bad way, but a nostalgia that reminded me

of memories from the past.

Is it the tightness of the crew neck,

or is it the oversized snap buttons

which are one of the details that symbolize KHOKI?

While recalling those fading, hazy sensations,

it also firmly maintains a level of maturity
that I can only appreciate as I am today.

The fabric uses a blend of merino wool and
cashmere yarn.

While it is light and comfortable to wear,

it also has high heat retention,

so it can be worn comfortably from early autumn to mid-winter,
giving off a chic and mature impression.

And, for the first button, we have adopted
an original button made of buffalo horn.

The warmth and smooth texture unique to natural materials is appealing,

and by stitching the buttons in the shape of a "K,"

it subtly expresses the brand's playful nature,
which is another key point.

The beads on the chest, exclusive to this bespoke piece,

are not just an accent; when you consider the scenery that might be hard to see,

perhaps a different perspective emerges.

In these 7 long years,

we have built precious relationships with each and every one of our customers.

It is precisely because this is a 7th-anniversary milestone that we wanted to create a piece worthy of our history

that will stay by your side in the time to come.

It has turned into a special item

that we can propose with confidence.

This item will be available

starting 9/1 (Tue.) at 12:00

in-store & ONLINE.

And tomorrow,

I plan to talk about the other
"bespoke item."

Don't miss tomorrow's blog!!
