Hello! I’m Haru, a fashion geek!!
Tonight, I’d like to talk about
an item I haven't really introduced
on the blog yet: bags.
Actually, as I write this blog,
I’m currently a "bag refugee" myself.
The YOKE × TEMBEA collaboration bag
I bought in college has finally kicked the bucket,
and I’ve missed every chance to buy a stylish new one
until now.
I’ve gone out on my days off
several times looking for a new match,
but nothing really clicked.
The classic "THE bag" look
just didn't feel right for me.
I wanted something that functions as a proper
fashion statement with some flair,
but still offers decent usability
and storage capacity...
Just as I was thinking that,
I learned a certain brand was releasing an ideal bag,
and I found an item that made me think, "This is it!!"
It lets me pack and carry exactly what I need,
fitting my ideals perfectly.
That item is:
KHOKI
-D cutting messenger bag-
col.Red
col.Blue
From everyone's favorite brand, KHOKI,
comes a deconstructed shoulder bag
made from durable canvas.
When you think of canvas bags,
tote bags are the most common style,
but I personally love how KHOKI weaves
their unique worldview and humor
into even a material as common as canvas!
They commented that they "based it on a casual item
and reshaped the silhouette with an asymmetrical cut,
almost like sculpture."
While it looks a bit unusual at first glance,
it retains that familiar canvas feel,
striking a perfect balance between usability and design.
As I’ve mentioned many times before,
you probably know why I’m drawn to this bag.
It’s 99% because it’s KHOKI,
but above all, the fact that it comes from a
fashion brand that is currently on a roll
makes it all the more appealing.
Unlike brands that specialize only in bags,
this brand is rooted in clothing design,
which is why they create bags that are
the opposite of "refined"—they are "stylish" and "progressive."
It’s easy for them to incorporate signature KHOKI gimmicks
and expressions, which is exactly why their bags are so interesting.
In particular, the COBRA buckle has a great presence,
making it an interesting accent
in terms of design as well.
It holds quite a lot, so for guys,
I think it’s the perfect size for an overnight trip
or a day out!
Regarding the colors, it really comes down to preference,
but if you usually wear black-based outfits,
the Blue is a foolproof choice,
while I’d recommend the Red if you want to add some pop.
If you’re someone who wears colored items,
come by the shop and let me help you decide which one is better! haha
If you're a KHOKI fan, this item is a must!!
By the way, I haven't bought mine yet either,
so I'm in trouble haha
