Hello! It’s Haru, a fashion geek!!
I wasn't feeling well yesterday,
so I couldn't update the blog.
I have fully recovered now,
so I'll be back to updating from today!!
Today, I was originally planning to write
about the new denim from ssstein.
But...
They have been selling faster than expected,
and there's a possibility they might be gone
by the time you read this blog,
so I'll introduce this item ahead of time...
ssstein
-PURE CASHMERE KNIT
CREW NECK LS(ST.1473)-
col.Red
col.Yellow
col.Black
A crew-neck sweater made using high-grade
cashmere yarn, meticulously spun from
carefully selected, high-quality cashmere.
This collection gives the impression of
focusing more on styling.
Personally, I feel that 25AW emphasized
the power of individual items,
while 26SS is a season where the charm lies in
combining various items to create expressions
that can't be achieved with a single piece.
Of course, it’s perfectly fine to wear
it simply on its own,
but because of its simple design, it’s easy
to combine with various items,
and with a little creativity, you can express
yourself in many different ways.
You could pair it with a blue shirt
for a softer look,
or, like the runway styling, pair the
red knit with brown to add a warm,
substantial feeling unique to winter...
It’s the perfect item for this time of year
when layering is so much fun!
It’s knitted loosely and finished to give it
a fluffy, voluminous feel that highlights
the quality of the raw material,
and because it features the high-quality,
soft comfort and beautiful fabric texture
with a natural sheen unique to cashmere,
I can confidently say that even those
with sensitive skin won't find it itchy at all.
It is a piece that makes it easy to understand
why cashmere is called the "jewel of fabrics"
due to its elegant luster and soft, light feel.
It goes without saying that the fabric is
excellent since it’s cashmere,
the real problem is which color to choose—
many customers at the shop have been
struggling with this.
Honestly, it comes down to preference, but...
Black
exudes that signature ssstein gravitas,
a sophisticated, mature, and intellectual impression.
It’s an all-rounder color that goes
with any item.
Red
is originally a casual color,
but by using cashmere, it gains a softness
that wool or cotton simply cannot achieve,
and I am drawn to the warmth and the
androgynous nuance the fabric possesses—
not just in a literal, physical sense.
And then there's Yellow,
a refreshing color that makes you feel
the arrival of a new season.
This shade, unseen in previous ssstein collections,
brings a sense of novelty—
it's a color that could only be expressed
in the 26SS collection, reflecting the "now"
of ssstein as it enters Paris and explores
a variety of expressions.
Personally, since I’m in the mood to enjoy
styling right now, I'm drawn to colored knits,
and this unique ssstein yellow is really
hitting the spot for me!
Designer Asakawa-san has said that
“the essence of the brand never changes
each season,”
and he mentioned focusing on the
“pleasant balance of the color palette”
this season. I feel this cashmere knit is one of
the items that embodies that perfectly.
ssstein items are starting to sell out,
not just the knits but almost everything.
I really hope you can see, touch, and choose
this cashmere knit for yourself!
