Hello! It’s Haru, a fashion geek!!

Tomorrow is an important day for those turning 20,
Coming of Age Day, which we’ve also reached.

Feeling a bit of nervousness mixed with
excitement for a new beginning,

Looking forward to meeting people you haven't seen in years—
a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

Many have come to sign to pick out a set-up
or a pair of calmanthology shoes,

wanting to welcome such a significant day
in the very best clothes.

Four years ago, for my own Coming of Age ceremony,

I also chose a KHOKI set-up and
calmanthology TEDS SHOES at sign,

and I remember my classmates being surprised and
full of praise for how different I looked
from my student days.

I originally started taking an interest in clothes
out of a desire to change myself,

and what began as mere curiosity eventually
became my identity and
the force that changed my life.

It would be a lie to say I didn't want
to prove people wrong,

but when I arrived at the ceremony looking my absolute best
and saw the look on my classmates' faces thinking,
"He looks like a different person,"
I was secretly thrilled haha.

By the way, I pride myself on having been
the best-dressed person at my ceremony haha.

While their reasons may differ from mine,

seeing them choose items from sign to mark
their important day makes me happy,

both as a staff member and as
someone who loves fashion just as much.

The reason I’m writing about this in today’s blog is,

honestly, I saw Sota helping some 20-year-olds who always come to sign,
watching them shop after getting their pre-ceremony photos taken,
and I just thought it was really nice.

Once you enter the working world, opportunities to get together with friends
to go shopping or do silly things
become rarer, so in a way,

I’m a little envious of them
fully enjoying "this" moment.

Well, as an introvert, I went to the ceremony dressed to the nines,
but I didn't get invited to the after-party,

so I ended up eating a Big Mac at McDonald's
with my fellow introvert friends,

got asked by my twin sister
why I didn't go to the after-party,

and spent my time going around to select shops alone...

But I'm definitely not bitter about it!!!

Yep... haha

To everyone celebrating their Coming of Age:

Tomorrow, "you" are the star of the show,
so go out and enjoy it to the fullest!
