Hello! It’s Haru, the clothing geek!

Right now at sign, a rivalry has been born
and the battle is about to begin.

Some of you might be wondering
what on earth I'm talking about,

but it’s that thing we were talking about.

The denim setup that is currently
the talk of the shop!!

By some stroke of luck, our arrivals overlapped,

leaving us in a situation where people are divided
over which black denim is better.

In fact, delivery started today,

and many customers in the shop are struggling
to decide which one to choose.

So, I’ve decided to write a blog post
explaining the differences between the denim
from the two brands: BISOWN and IRENISA!!

Without further ado,
let’s get straight to the introduction.

IRENISA
-JEAN JACKET-

-TWO TUCKS BUGGY PANTS-

"Mode-style denim based on tailoring"

An item with an overwhelming mode aesthetic
that you definitely won't see anyone else wearing.

They’ve refined denim—a classic casual item—to this degree,

achieving the perfect balance between the feminine softness
that defines IRENISA and the ruggedness of tailoring.

I was overwhelmed by its unique atmosphere
from the moment I first saw it,

and it’s so good that not only myself, but Kento-san
also fell in love with it and placed a personal order.

I don't usually feel like I want a denim setup,

but I just can't resist this one, haha.

Their obsessive, almost perverted level of attention
to fabric is also on full display with this denim.

While Okayama denim is famous when it comes to denim,
this fabric isn't from Okayama.

The fabric is produced in the Bingo (Hiroshima) region,

using an 11.5oz black denim material made
with high-twist sulfur-dyed cotton.

It has the perfect weight—not too thick, not too thin—

and by dyeing it with sulfur (a traditional method
of dyeing cellulose fibers like cotton using sulfur-containing dyes),
it achieves a unique crispness and depth of character.

When I first touched this fabric,

I was surprised and moved by the texture and feel,
which are so unlike cotton that I wondered,
“Does this contain polyester or nylon?”

Also, because it is sulfur-dyed,

it fades beautifully,
so you can really enjoy the aging process.

The cut of the jacket is interesting,
and the shoulder details and silhouette

are beautiful lines rooted in the tailoring
that IRENISA excels at.

It’s easily one of the top two most beautiful
denim jackets I’ve ever come across.

I should tell you now:

to achieve this beautiful silhouette,
the shoulders are tight,
so those with broader frames might not be able to wear it.

Also, depending on the item,

it’s undeniable that there are limitations
to layering thick knits or sweatshirts underneath.

But! Even with that in mind, this is a denim jacket you'll want!

There is no doubt you will become captivated
by this silhouette.

I’ve talked a lot about the jacket,
but I haven’t forgotten the pants!

These denim pants were created based on the model
that updated IRENISA’s signature 2-tuck trousers
into a buggy silhouette.

The side tabs allow for about 10cm of size adjustment,

so you can wear them at various balances,
whether you prefer them on your hips or at your waist!

Like the jacket, the fabric is versatile, and
the volume creates a look that pools at the feet,
resembling a flare silhouette.

The two tucks mean that when you tuck in your shirt,
the beautiful, sharp line at the waist
sets it apart from other denim.

While you can certainly wear the top and bottom individually,

I strongly recommend choosing them as a set!!

It’s less of a casual
denim setup and more of a

mode atmosphere, as if you were wearing
a tailored jacket setup.

That exquisite balance of opposites is a new
mode proposal that only IRENISA can deliver.

Because these are items that overflow in our daily lives,

it’s interesting to choose pieces that incorporate
a different essence from the rest.

In tomorrow’s blog, I’ll be introducing the BISOWN
denim setup, which stands on the opposite side of the spectrum!

Don’t miss it!!
