With the temperatures rising, there’s an item
I’d really like to recommend.
While I do want to recommend it,
I also just really want to talk about it. Haha.

In their 2025 Spring/Summer collection,
there was one item that particularly caught my eye.
It is the "Organic Cotton Denim Pants*Crashed"
It’s a pair that lightly overturns the established image of UNDECORATED—
a free, and somewhat nostalgic piece.
The origin of the design:
The designer's own memories from 20 years ago
The background behind the birth of these jeans
lies in a personal experience of the designer, Mr. Kono.
It is said that while sorting through his belongings
during a move from his parents' home,
he found a pair of distressed jeans he loved in his student days.
Those jeans had large rips at both knees and frayed hems,
a pair steeped in the "character" etched into them over time.
It vividly reminded him of himself back when he used to visit vintage clothing stores in Harajuku
and genuinely enjoy fashion.
He mentioned that those feelings were the catalyst
for this particular design.

Daring to bring "emotion" into
the basic and minimalist world of UNDECORATED
In this collection,
alongside that design approach that appeals to reason,
a new pillar has been added:
"The joy of enjoying fashion."
That is what these jeans represent.
I was touched by the focus on the "joy of enjoying fashion" as a central theme.
The sensation of "enjoying fashion," which might seem casual at first glance,
should be the pure joy that everyone feels
when they first start loving clothes.
However, as you pursue fashion more deeply,
you find yourself searching for the "right answer,"
and you stop knowing what to wear,
leading to confusion.
(I’ve actually had times like that myself! Haha.)
