Hello! I'm Haru, a total clothing nerd!
The 26AW exhibitions started yesterday,
and Kento-san and Sota headed off on a business trip to Tokyo.
While they were away, I was covering the store
with Naoki-san, but
every time photos from the exhibition were posted on the story,
I couldn't help but get excited and emotional, haha.
Instead of acting like staff,
I was looking at it more like a customer,
taking screenshots and zooming in on the items
that were hard to see.
I’ve basically become a total gear-head, haha.
Since the 26AW season I'm so excited about
is still a long way off,
please look forward to it.
While 26AW is important,
first, our SS arrivals are picking up pace
and new items arrived today too!
I’ve gotten the impression that a lot of people visiting the store lately are looking for inner layers,
so I’d like to introduce
a few recommended items!

What kind of image
do you have of plaid?
I think most people generally
consider it casual.
I’ve grown to have no resistance to it lately and have actually come to like it, but
at first, I found it too casual and struggled with it.
If you usually prefer to wear more polished items,
it's hard to suddenly
incorporate casual plaid into your own style,
but don't you think it’s easier to try
if it’s a sophisticated plaid?
This BISOWN piece is something that both those who feel uneasy about plaid

By using gas-mercerized yarn made from high-quality long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton (one of the world's top three cottons)
and weaving it on low-speed looms in Bishu,
it creates a rich, voluminous,
and elegant texture that
strips away the sloppiness typical of
casual plaid fabrics.
Of course, that's not the only element
that makes it feel refined.
It has a moderate thickness, and because it is woven slowly over time,
in addition to the original softness of the Giza cotton,
there is little fuzz, giving it an elegant sheen.
Furthermore, it’s a BISOWN original material with a double-mercerized finish (a processing technique that gives cotton a silk-like luster, elegant sheen, and a smooth texture),
resulting in a clear, sophisticated surface texture
that you wouldn't believe is cotton.
Because it is a "plaid" born from a different approach
than conventional patterns,
you can feel an elegant and soft impression,
so even those who aren't fans of it can pick it up.
It's easy to use as an inner layer,
and if you match it with the outerwear you own,
it will expand your styling range.
Personally, wearing it with a jacket
and rolling up the sleeves feels like an old-school rock band look,
and even though the item is a new release,
the styling has that 70s-80s vibe.
It really thrills me, haha.
With a rough design based on a sleeping shirt
and slightly large open collars that exude a bit of sex appeal,
I strongly feel I want to wear it with slim denim
once summer arrives!!
