Hello! It’s Haru, a fashion enthusiast!
There’s an item that’s been steadily
gaining popularity recently.
That is, denim!!
It’s still February and very cold,
but it’s that time of year when we naturally
start looking toward spring and shifting gears.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who
starts wanting denim around this time every year, haha.
If you think, "It's still too early for spring clothes,"
before you know it, spring will be here,
and the good items will be gone.
That’s exactly why you should pick out
the items you love early on.
Basically, the items currently in the shop
can be worn right away, so it’s a win-win.
So today, I’d like to introduce the best pair of denim pants
that are fueling my denim cravings right now!

A new style of denim pants
introduced from the 26SS season.
While past denim pieces had a moderate
amount of volume,
fitting the typical ssstein style
centered around oversized silhouettes,
this season’s pair is a slightly slimmer fit.
When I say "slim," it’s only in comparison to
ssstein’s previous denim releases;
as the name suggests, they are still wide-leg denim.
It’s not just that I’m drawn to them because ssstein
released an unusual type of denim,
there’s a specific point about this item
that personally caught my eye!
That is...
The silhouette around the waist!
Compared to traditional denim, this pair has a deeper rise,
giving it a cleaner look around the waist.
It has a neat, fitted feel around the hips,
but it features a complex silhouette that gradually
drapes and widens from the waist down.
I wouldn’t go as far as calling it "DEFORMATION,"
but with its added slightly twisted detail,
it really captures a sharp, mode-inspired aesthetic!
As the person writing this blog,
I want them more than anyone right now, haha.
Of course, there is a serious commitment to the fabric,
using threads with a natural uneven texture,
which is designed to develop a natural, vintage-like
fading effect through aging over time.
Designed as a relatively light 11.5oz denim that
you can comfortably wear even in summer,

I love rigid denim that you break in yourself,
but denim that has been perfected by the designer’s hand
reflects the brand’s worldview so strongly
that it offers a different kind of appeal.
