For today's blog, I’m changing things up
a little bit from the usual.
Instead of focusing on a single item,
I’m going to talk about some outfits
I’ve put together recently.
I don’t often get the chance to talk about the intent
behind my choices, like "why I picked this combination,"
so this is a fresh experiment for me,
and I hope it makes for an interesting read.
I hope that through this blog,
your perspective on the items in the shop
might change a little,
and that it serves as inspiration
for your own styling.
Let’s get right into the first outfit!
This look is centered around
a pair of kolor shorts.

A sweatshirt and shorts
outfit.
Some might think a sweatshirt is too
hot for this time of year,
but since this TANAKA sweatshirt is made of
a thin fabric, it can be worn for a long season,
making it an easy choice even in
today’s temperature.
Since wearing just a sweatshirt
can feel heavy and hot,
I balanced it out with these kolor shorts,
which feature a short length and a
refreshing nylon material.
To make it look lighter,
I rolled them up, and since just a
sweatshirt and shorts can be dull,
I added a blue check shirt draped over the shoulders
to give it an extra fresh touch.
In the coming season, you can't really layer clothes,
so outfits tend to get monotonous.
That’s exactly why just changing the way you wear
things makes a huge difference.
Summer fashion isn't just about switching to short sleeves
or putting on shorts.
I think this kind of approach is a valid way to enjoy it.
Speaking of kolor shorts, I personally really love
this styling too.
The design of the item is simple, but the key is
adding variety through the texture and how you wear it.
For the second outfit...

I’ve ended up picking kolor items again,
but it really wasn't intentional, haha.
It’s like I’m naturally drawn to them; when I put together
looks with only basic items, it feels a bit lacking.
While thinking about that and just styling intuitively,
I realized I’d reached for kolor again, haha.
I think that shows how much charm is packed
into kolor’s clothes.
This time, I went with a look that has a strong feel,
unified by warm colors like brown, beige, and orange.
It looks a bit flashy because I have a long-sleeve tee
underneath, but just wearing it as a simple
polo and chinos is undoubtedly a cool combo.
But I felt that was a bit lacking in interest,
so this time I layered the long-sleeve tee.
If you want to go all out with your fashion,
I highly recommend adding variety with your inner layers like this.
The ssstein pants have a slightly rugged atmosphere
typical of chino material, but because the brand itself
is based on a mode aesthetic,
that elegance coexists perfectly
within that ruggedness.
That exquisite sense of balance is what I think
is the signature charm of ssstein, haha.
Of course, this is all based on my own sense, so I don't
think there’s a right or wrong answer,
but I can confidently say that
this style is cool!
The first outfit was about changes in how to wear things,
and the second was an image of changes in color.
The last outfit I’ll introduce is this one,

It might not be a look that appeals to everyone,
but it’s one I personally love so much.
I can guarantee that even if you look all over town,
you won’t find anyone else wearing this combination.
A patterned shirt is eye-catching enough,
but by adding suspenders, the entire atmosphere
of the outfit changes dramatically.
As for this outfit, it’s really playing to my own tastes,
but I can still confidently state that it’s stylish.
Of course, the way people perceive style is different
for everyone, which makes it a difficult subject,
but that’s exactly why I want to confidently propose
the things that I truly believe are good.

If you want to talk about styling,
you can easily pull this off just by thinking of it
as matching a patterned shirt with slacks.
Fashion has infinite possibilities beyond the
outfits I introduced today.
