Hello! I'm Haru, a fashion geek!

In the Instagram live I hosted this week,

I showcased some short-sleeve shirts, and I'm very grateful that
some of our regular customers reached out and picked some up.

Yesterday, some new customers who saw the live stream
also chose Marvin shirts,

which just goes to show that
everyone is looking for the same thing this time of year...

With temperatures staying near 30°C
as if it's the norm,

many people are already
preparing for the 2026 summer campaign.

I've mentioned it on the blog
many times before, but

"If you miss out now, you won't be able to get
the items you need for a perfect summer."

Even though I say that,

I myself haven't bought any short-sleeve items
for this year yet, haha.

Every time I try to buy a short-sleeve item,
for some reason I end up buying a long-sleeve shirt instead,

or like the other day, I bought a skipper knit from The CLASIK—I keep getting sidetracked.

Ever since I was young, even when I went shopping
with a specific goal in mind,

I'd often realize I'd bought something
completely different...

I'm just a fickle
fashion geek like that, haha.

Because of that, when I put things off
thinking, "I'll just get it later,"

it's not rare for me to find myself in trouble
down the road.

Of course, the items I chose on a whim
were never the wrong choice,

and being able to encounter a piece so captivating
that I forget my original goal

is a truly wonderful thing.

However, the items you were originally looking for
were on your list because you really needed them.

It's important to enjoy new discoveries,
but you often find that the items you put off
are sold out before you know it.

If you're curious about something,
I recommend making a decision early.

Fashion is all about timing.

Before you regret it and say,
"I should have bought it when I had the chance,"

please take a moment to face the piece
you really need.

Today, I'd like to introduce one such item
that will be a staple in the coming season.

That item is...

Cale
-cotton ikat check shirt-
col.Orange

col.Green

Cale's items are always packed
with "mature" appeal.

When I thought about what word describes Cale,
it's neither "adult" nor "mode."

It's not trying too hard,
and it doesn't feel pretentious.

It's basic and universal, and because of that,
there's a sense of composure—a kind of

relaxed, effortless feel that I sense from Cale.
That's why I feel it's a truly "grown-up" brand.

A T-shirt alone
feels a little lacking,

but it's too hot to layer clothes.

For the upcoming season, when you're in that bind,
I want you to pick up

Cale's "cotton ikat check shirt."

The fabric uses an original
ikat check created by Cale.

I looked up ikat check for this blog,
and wow, it's such a deep, fascinating fabric!!

Ikat check isn't something you hear about often.

Tracing its roots, it uses the traditional
Indonesian and Malaysian "Ikat" dyeing technique,

woven into a check pattern.

By tying the yarn beforehand to resist-dye it
and then weaving it in, you get
a unique expression that is the highlight of this fabric.

It doesn't have the uniform look of a typical check pattern;

it has a blurred, bleeding color effect
created by the resist-dyeing process.

It creates depth and a somewhat
soft, airy atmosphere.

It's so subtle that some people might not even
realize it's a check pattern, and without the rigid borders
that usually define checks, it has a very modern feel.

While retaining the charm of a rustic check pattern,

the refined color palette elevates it
to an urban aesthetic.

It combines craftsmanship with a modern sensibility,
making it a fabric that is truly Cale.

The silhouette is a relaxed fit
with just the right amount of room.

Basic, yet transformed through fabric.

Because you can feel Cale's high quality—their obsession
with fabric, stitching, and details—that effortlessness
feels truly "mature."

While it's a shirt, it has the elegance
of a shirt jacket,

and just throwing it on gives your outfit
the perfect amount of presence.

You can wear it as the star of your outfit,

or style it casually over a T-shirt or tank top.

Due to the texture of the material and the pattern,

you can enjoy a great look
even with a simple pairing.

It comes in two colors: Green, with a modern and refined
impression, and Orange, which offers a warm yet
delicate tone.

Both have different charms, and they are so
well-made that you might find yourself
wanting both.

It’s not flashy.
But it definitely catches the eye.

Please come and see this piece in store,
packed with the unique sensibilities of Cale.
