Hello! I'm Haru, a fashion fanatic!
Isn't it just way too hot lately?!
June was relatively cool and comfortable
compared to last year, so I let my guard down,
but ever since the rainy season ended,
we've had brutal heat exceeding 30 degrees every day.
Before I knew it, more shops started selling shaved ice,
and I've really started to feel that
"this season is here again."
We at sign are not a restaurant,
so we can't offer you physical coolness
like shaved ice.
Instead, we can propose items that will help
everyone who visits us stay a little more comfortable
and enjoy their summer fashion.
However, the item I'm introducing today
is the exact opposite of what I just said.
If you wear it in this weather,
you'll collapse from heatstroke! Haha
So why am I talking about such an item
on the blog at this time of year?
The reason is obvious...
Because I am absolutely pumped
about this item that just arrived!!
Once you slip your arms into this item,
the heat doesn't matter anymore—
the feeling of "I want it!!" takes over.
I can confidently say it's the ultimate item
packed with masculine romance...

I've talked about kolor on the blog a few times.
New items arrived a few days ago,
and they are incredibly cool!!
It’s a piece packed with masculine appeal—
when you take a bomber jacket as a base
and combine it with this season's unique kolor aesthetic,
there's no way it wouldn't be good!
I'll digress slightly, but I've been asked
"How is it different from sacai?!"
at the store several times,
and they are completely different.
Since everyone has their own take on a brand,
I can't definitively say one is the "correct" way.
This is just my own perspective.
sacai has a creative way of combining items
that are familiar in daily life, like military and tailored wear.
And because they cross over in such an exquisite balance,
like multiplication, they create a brand that is both approachable
and possesses a one-of-a-kind design sensibility.
On the other hand, kolor also has roots in
military and tailoring, of course.
However, I feel the biggest difference is that
it’s not "item" multiplication, but "material" multiplication.
kolor doesn't use existing fabrics, but produces their own,
so it's a brand that starts from "0" rather than 1.
That's exactly why they can finely control
the texture, color, and feel—things that cannot
be expressed through design alone—
and combine them into a single piece of clothing.
Because the material usage itself is designed as
part of the aesthetic, I think quite a few people
feel it's "difficult" the first time they put it on.
However, this kolor blouson that arrived is a familiar
bomber jacket, which makes it relatively accessible,
while still allowing you to feel that distinct kolor style.
While retaining the masculinity
of a bomber jacket,
it incorporates design elements reminiscent of
"the sea," which is also a concept for kolor.
For instance, the drawstring on the second tier makes you imagine ropes used to secure a ship to a port,
and the toggle seen on duffle coats was originally
a feature of workwear worn by fishermen.
The fact that the unique charm of this season
is so well-expressed in the design
is truly captivating for a fashion lover.
I can't wear it right now, but
come early autumn, it would be interesting to style it casually
with a white T-shirt and denim,
or play around with a colorful knit layered underneath.
Because I know it's too hot to wear right now,
I imagine wearing it even more, making me want it all the more.
Precisely because it's the hot season,
hot items are starting to arrive.
When you visit the store, please, by all means,
give it a try!
