Lately, it’s gotten even colder,
and I see more and more people wearing down jackets in town.
As the number of down jackets increases,
I feel like "there are fewer stylish people."
Of course, I like down jackets too, and
I understand they are indispensable
during cold seasons,
but it’s a waste to just throw on a down jacket
and call it a day when it’s finally autumn/winter fashion season.
Moreover,
everyone is wearing the same type of puffy,
voluminous black down jacket.
It’s boring.
If you look hard enough, there are definitely
more stylish items available, even among down jackets.
I personally don't think you can call it "stylish"
when everyone is wearing the same thing.
I mentioned "looking hard enough" earlier, but
there is a "stylish down-alternative item" right nearby...
I'll save that for another day.
However, I also understand that
a single knit or sweatshirt isn't enough to stay warm.
That's exactly why layering a shirt underneath
or adding a high-neck knit,
by combining various items,
you can expand your styling range and
differentiate yourself from the crowd.
It's killing two birds with one stone!
It’s fine to just throw on a down jacket
and head out, but
I think it’s much more fun to get dressed up
and go out!
