Hello! It’s Haru, the clothing geek!

Lately, I’ve been feeling a growing excitement
for "Shuzo Matsuhashi".

Or rather, I’ve been excited ever since they arrived at our shop, but it really is fantastic!!

While it fits seamlessly into everyday life,

it is crafted with a serious commitment to "fashion,"

which gives it a truly one-of-a-kind worldview.

It’s not just "this is fine," but "this is the one."

It has a certain wit that makes you think that.

In a world overflowing with brands,

being able to feel the brand's personality at a single glance

is proof of the unique atmosphere only that brand can create.

The item I’m introducing today

might be a basic piece, but

it is an item where you can clearly feel the essence of Shuzo Matsuhashi.

"This is an artisan-quality knit for adults."

That was the first thing I felt
when I saw this item.

A thick, low-gauge,
soft knit.

At first glance, you might dismiss it as just a basic knit,

but the atmosphere it carries
is different from other brands.

We’ve carried various knits at sign every year,

but it’s different from factory brands
that handle everything from the yarn to the weaving
consistently, whether casual or mode.

Designer Mr. Matsuhashi has experience
abroad at houses like LOEWE,

gaining values you just can't find in Japan.

Such experiences are reflected in his clothes,

meaning the "basics" we perceive
and the "basics" proposed by Shuzo Matsuhashi
carry different meanings.

The unique air I felt from this knit
is born from that kind of background.

The low-gauge, soft weave
has a comfortable, relaxed feel that is reminiscent of luxury brands,
without looking too stiff.

It’s not about flashy colors or designs,

but rather a universality that quietly exudes presence.

In addition, this knit features slits at the waist,

so by threading a belt through them, it transforms
from a basic piece into something truly one-of-a-kind.

Of course, you can use the belt proposed by Shuzo Matsuhashi,

or you can even incorporate a belt you wear every day
as part of the design.

It is basic, yet
anything but ordinary.

It doesn't insist on itself through loud details or obvious design,

but through the texture of the material, the softness of the weave,
and that little touch of humor in threading a belt through it.

By layering each of those elements,

the unique atmosphere that only Shuzo Matsuhashi can create is complete.

I hope you’ll try it on yourself
and experience this quiet sense of presence.
