Hello! I’m Haru, a fashion fanatic!!

Today is the day after Christmas.

The city, which was shining
with illuminations, has calmed down,

and just like that, the holiday mood

has shifted into the busy, full-swing
rush toward the New Year, making me realize how little of the year is left.

On my way to work, inside the Hankyu station,

craftsmen were preparing Kadomatsu pine decorations,

and Shimekazari wreaths were on sale—

every year, the 26th brings that peculiar feeling
at the delicate turning point between the end of Christmas
and the approach of the New Year.

It’s hard to get used to the way one event ends,
leaving behind a touch of sadness,

while we immediately have to spring into action
for the final big event of the year, haha.

As I was ruminating on my commute about how
balance is important in everything,

a certain item suddenly crossed my mind.

A delicate balance born when items that are
different in essence and would normally never intersect
are brought together.

When you combine items,
it creates a unique atmosphere and aesthetic,

and in some cases, you might be overwhelmed by the
unconventional presence, wondering "what is this,"
but this item is different on many levels.

It’s a creation born from a collective of fashion lovers
who have accumulated a variety of experiences
and who genuinely love clothing;

it is gorgeous, yet not overly flashy,

and common to all their items is an ease of use
"as everyday wear."

Because it’s an item made by them, even pieces that
are fundamentally different harmonize with each other,

and are successfully elevated into something entirely new.

I’d like to introduce an item today that is
perfect for this moment, where such an exquisite
vibe is in the air!

That item is...

KHOKI
-Destroyed Knit Cardigan-

A piece that docks a knit cardigan
with military wear.

The uniquely KHOKI-esque idea of docking
a cardigan with what looks to be a field jacket
(a military coat designed for combat or work in the field).

From the chest down, it switches to a ripstop fabric,
featuring practical gusseted flap pockets.

Even with the same color—BLACK—
changing the material creates a completely different look,

and while it stays cohesive because the colors match,
the contrast of the different materials stands out,

and by bringing them together, the appeal of each
element is heightened.

The tough, military-derived details
add just the right accent to the overall impression,

and the knit portion on the upper body
has been given a distressed treatment,

creating a vintage, well-worn look.

It’s an item only KHOKI could make,
capturing the hearts not just of those who love new arrivals,
but even the hearts of vintage clothing enthusiasts!

As a KHOKI fan myself,
this piece really gets me excited!

For those of you who usually prefer basic items,
this is an entry point that is easy to pick up.

Change up your inner layer,
and the look changes completely;

use it as an inner layer for a coat,

and the docked portion creates an layered effect
that will definitely lift your spirits.

You’ll appreciate the quality of this piece even more
when you try it on than you would just looking at photos.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this item sells out
this coming weekend.

This gets me pumped up, haha.

The last weekend of the year.
