Hello! I’m Haru, a fashion nerd!!

Lately, I’ve started to find
language really interesting.

You might be wondering what on earth I’m talking about,

and this has absolutely nothing to do with the items I’m introducing today, so feel free to skip this if you’re not interested lol.

One reason I’ve started to find language interesting is that I’ve been writing this blog and have had more opportunities to interact with words,

but my favorite rock band, "Sakanaction," also helps me understand the fascination of language.

If you’ve ever listened to Sakanaction,
you probably know what I mean—

their lyrics are scattered with many words
and readings I’ve never heard before.

For instance, I learned that the kanji for "water surface" (水面), which I thought was read "suimen," can also be read as "minamo,"

and I learned various words like "azemichi" (footpath between rice fields) or using "aishu" (sorrow/melancholy) to express feelings of sadness, heartache, or gloom.

I rarely read books, and for music, I mostly listened to anime songs or soundtracks from anime and games,

but since I started liking Sakanaction, I feel like a whole new world has opened up for me.

The reason I find language interesting isn’t just in music or books;

the concepts used to express a brand are also complex and profound.

For example, ssstein’s concept of
“From nothing to something. Expressing that interstitial space.”

represents the expression of the gap that is born when you combine opposing things,

or perhaps it describes the oversized fit unique to ssstein that can be worn by anyone regardless of gender—I don’t know if that’s the correct interpretation, but

I enjoy reading between the lines and thinking about the meaning, like fitting together pieces of a puzzle.

Through this blog, rather than just conveying the appeal of the clothing,

I hope to be able to express things in a way that sparks your imagination and gets you excited, even through a screen.

My writing is often immature, and I’m at that age where I want to use difficult kanji and words I’ve just learned, so I hope you’ll watch over me warmly lol.

I’ve rambled on, but
let’s get right to the item introduction…

Founded by creative director Shin Dong-soo and his wife Seo Joo-hyun with the concept of "clothes that allow you to spend your daily life and work in comfort."

A contemporary brand that creates
clothing and accessories for people in various professions to wear comfortably at work
or in their everyday lives.

The set-up from ANOTHER OFFICE, which offers items that fit into such daily routines, elevates the jacket and trousers—items that usually make you stand up straight—into comfortable daily wear while adding a touch of a modern vibe.

The Santiago Sports Jacket adopts a simple and stylish
two-button jacket design.

After several pattern adjustments, it achieves a silhouette that flows softly along the shoulders with a calm, clean fit.

Since there are no shoulder pads, it’s easy to move in, and you don’t have to worry about the volume pads often bring, making it easy to wear.

The lapels are also made to fold naturally while maintaining volume, and it uses high-quality wool & cashmere blended fabric.

The Santiago Mild Slacks are an A/O signature item
made with the image of formal, mature
classic suit pants.

They feature a narrow waistband and use the construction method of authentic high-end suit pants,
emphasizing the fluid silhouette that falls from the waist to the hem.

With a three-dimensional pattern that gently hugs the waist, it provides long-lasting comfort even during extended periods of activity.

You can adjust the size using the adjusters on both sides of the waist, so you can wear them without a belt.

Both items are set-ups that firmly respect the principles of tailoring
while being grounded in a "daily life" perspective.

When worn, they offer a sense of gravitas without feeling stiff or uptight.

Of course, they aren't just for daily use; they’re also great for formal occasions like coming-of-age ceremonies or graduation ceremonies.

Especially for once-in-a-lifetime events like a coming-of-age ceremony,

I think it’s cooler to wear something that makes your daily life "special" rather than just a standard, safe outfit like everyone else.

If there’s an after-party, you can change the mood by wearing a light high-neck knit underneath and swapping the pants for denim.

When I went to my own coming-of-age ceremony, I wore a super cool set-up and planned to do that styling for the after-party, but…

I didn’t get invited to an after-party, so I went to McDonald’s with a friend, ate a Big Mac set, and just went home.

The fries that time felt a bit saltier than usual… lol.

Now that I’ve introduced this incredible set-up, I’ll introduce the best shoes to go with it tomorrow.

Please look forward to it!
