Hello! I'm Haru, a fashion geek!!
The trees that were once green are gradually
turning shades of red and crimson,
and thinking that autumn is now in full swing and the year will be over in just a few months makes me realize how fast time flies.
The arrival of fall/winter items that started around June has finally begun to settle down,
and the shop is now stocked with the best lineup—a critical moment for us fashion geeks.
I'm a creature who lives on the deadline between life and death,
constantly dancing on that edge,
and as soon as the credit card bill is paid on the 27th,
I immediately start choosing what to buy next month.
I know more people will be looking for gifts
as we head toward "X-Day,"
but a true fashion geek would rather invest in clothes than find a girlfriend.
(This is not an excuse for not being popular, I swear...)
It's not just that I buy them because I like clothes;
choosing good clothes gives me confidence in my actions and words,
and naturally, my appearance changes to suit those clothes.
It might sound exaggerated, but I believe that clothing has the power to change people
and exists to enrich our lives.
It's not that expensive things are "good clothes";
good clothes have their own meaning, and I'm drawn to those intangible qualities.
When I think about how these small, accumulated experiences
turn us into fashion lovers, isn't it interesting?
I’ve gotten a bit philosophical, but in the end, I’m still being chased by my bills.
Just as I was trying to survive this month, an item arrived
that threatens to lead me to the gallows.
That item is...
blanc YM
-QUILTING WIDE SHIRT-
col.Olive
An arrangement of the classic blanc YM wide shirt
reimagined as a quilting shirt.
It maintains the vibe of a shirt while fully retaining the presence of quilting,
elevated into a bold piece.
Blanc YM takes materials reminiscent of outdoor or military gear
and applies them to the minimal design they value so dearly,
fitting seamlessly into anyone's daily wardrobe, regardless of gender.
I've seen quilting shirts before,
but they always felt too casual,
so I never chose them for myself.
However, the blanc YM quilting shirt
uses acetate, giving it a silk-like luster and a smooth texture.
Unlike quilted fabrics usually reserved for linings, this shirt blends into "daily life" perfectly.
It’s a uniquely blanc YM piece that offers that effortless wardrobe staple feel
that no other brand can replicate.
And there’s an element that makes me think, "I have to have this!" even more now.
That is,
the "Olive" color proposed by sign
is an exclusive shade available only at sign in Japan.
How could I not want it after hearing that!!
The fact that they didn't do a BLACK version and are only offering this Olive creates such a convincing argument.
The item itself is cool enough, but hearing that it's a limited color just sends me straight to the gallows.
Someone please come stop me before I go overboard (lol)
