Hello! I’m Haru, a fashion geek!!
DMs have been pouring in non-stop,
with expectations for the
ssstein× UMBRO collaboration building by the minute.
We’ve received an incredible response,
and to be honest, I’m nervous about tomorrow’s opening haha.
Just like when the ssstein leather items dropped,
there will be a queue,
and as soon as we open,
it’ll be a total war zone with everyone scrambling for items.
Honestly, I wish I could be there
in the trenches tomorrow too haha.
In preparation for this once-in-a-lifetime event,
I’d like to introduce the
ssstein× UMBRO items that will be delivered to sign tomorrow.
Yesterday, I gave a brief overview,
but today I’ll go into more detail about the items!!
To survive tomorrow’s battle,
you first have to know your enemy (the clothes)
and make the best choices!
Let’s get straight to the items...
ssstein× UMBRO
-CO/NY POPLIN PADDED JACKET(ST.1340)-
-CO/NY POPLIN TRACK JACKET(ST.1343)-
We have 6 items available at sign,
and all are available in S/M except for the cap!
The PADDED JACKET and TRACK JACKET are
made from the same nylon-cotton dump fabric.
To blend UMBRO's signature sporty vibe
with ssstein’s unique mode aesthetic,
we used a nylon-cotton fabric
that tones down the typical gloss and lightness,
elevating it into a true fashion piece.
It lacks that "swishy" texture typical of sportswear,
making it easy to wear in daily life,
and the TRACK JACKET, reinterpreted through
a modern fashion lens, is a piece that can be paired with anything.
The PADDED JACKET shares the same
standard shape (25AW model) that we have in store,

The clear differences are the fabric texture and
the unique ssstein× UMBRO embroidery.
The inline model uses high-density recycled nylon from OLMETEX,
which has a moderate luster and a metallic
heaviness to it, so I recommend that one if you really want to experience the ssstein world!
-CO/NY POPLIN TRACK TROUSERS(ST.1344)-
The TRACK TROUSERS, which pair with the TRACK JACKET,
have a nice volume to them,
and since they have zippers on the cuffs,
you can adjust the silhouette.

SWEAT LS(ST.1346)-

This sweatshirt, which is getting a lot of attention
in this collab, is definitely a must-have.
The high-gauge loopback fabric, which you won’t find
in the inline sweatshirts,
has enough stretch that you could actually
use it as training wear.
By adding side panels with a different weave,
it adds both a sporty feel and extra comfort.
Personally, the fact that the GREY version has navy embroidery is just so unfair…
If I weren’t a staff member,
I would definitely be buying this haha.
-DEFORMATION WIDE DENIM JEANS(ST.1345)-

Keeping the standard silhouette,
this piece features a fabric specially produced for this collab
that feels like vintage denim.
It’s a wide denim piece characterized by long gussets at the side seams,
creating a silhouette that flares from the thigh down to the hem.
In a rare move for ssstein denim,
they’ve moved the leather patch to the front instead of the back—a brilliant change.
And the leather patch itself is navy. Amazing, right?
As a fashion geek, I interpret the distressing on this denim
as a representation of getting them dirty from actually playing soccer.
It gets me so hyped haha.
-WATER REPELLENT CAP(ST.1347)-
Finally, the cap made from OLMETEX twill fabric.
The high-density poly-cotton fabric
is easy to pair with mode items,
making it the perfect accent for your styling.
