OVERCOAT is a unisex brand produced by Daimaru Seisakusho, established by Ryuhei Daimaru.
While continuing to present collections at New York Fashion Week, the Spring/Summer 2021 collection will hold its first solo exhibition in Tokyo.
Daimaru, who has experience as a pattern maker, says that the axis of his creation is the design of "space" that arises between cloth and people.
On top of that, the overcoat was born as a result of imposing the restriction of “wearing New York”, which is his base, on his own output.
"I want to express not only the scenery of New York, but also the 'dynamics' and 'diversity' of the city," he says.
