Hello! I'm Haru, a fashion nerd!

I'm so sorry for the very late update
to the blog yesterday!

As I previewed yesterday, today I'll be talking about the
exclusive BISOWN×sign items!!

Let's get right into the introduction!

BISOWN×sign
-sign Exclusive CO/HE USN
SHAWL COVERALL-

-sign Exclusive CO/HE PURE
STRAIGHT DENIM-

Using the same organic cotton warp as
the in-line black denim,

combined with undyed hemp for the weft,

both warp and weft are dyed in
INDIGO, a sign-exclusive color,

a color you won't find anywhere else in the world.

The unique texture that only hemp can provide,
which cotton alone cannot achieve,

gives it a stiffness and quality reminiscent of linen.

It's a modern piece with a different feel
than the black version,

so you can wear it as-is and let it fade
slowly from INDIGO to shades of BLUE,

or wash it to jump-start the color
to your own personal preference.

Since I've already covered the fabric and details
thoroughly in a previous EP.92 blog post,

it wouldn't be very interesting to repeat the same thing...

So! Instead of talking about the items themselves,
I'm going to change things up and offer
styling suggestions using these exclusive items!!

I don't want you to worry about getting lost in
technical details or fabric specs,

I just want you to see the styling,
think it looks "cool," and get interested.

So, I will now present:
"3 Stylish Outfits Curated by a Fashion Nerd"!!

First up, here is the first look!

jacket: BISOWN×sign
-sign Exclusive CO/HE USN
SHAWL COVERALL-

shirt: Shuzo Matsuhashi
-Draped Shirt-Jacket in KP-

pants: BISOWN×sign
-sign Exclusive CO/HE PURE
STRAIGHT DENIM-

It’s a set-up with a shirt in between,
simple yet deep.

While a simple white shirt would work as an inner layer,

the soft and warm feel of
Shuzo Matsuhashi's shirt really makes the INDIGO pop.

Also, when you take off the jacket,
the shirt's tight silhouette and

the denim's slim lines create an
I-line effect,

giving off a sophisticated, mature vibe.

Layering to contrast textures is great, but
wearing a denim set-up in a relaxed way while
choosing a sophisticated shirt for the base...

It's polished, but not overdone—the perfect
"mature day off" look.

The second look is a bit more formal.

jacket: kolor
-26SCM-T04203-

shirt:OVERCOAT
-Zip-up Shirt-

pants: BISOWN×sign
-sign Exclusive CO/HE PURE
STRAIGHT DENIM-

A jacket, a shirt, and denim—you can't go wrong.

I didn't want to just toss these three items together randomly,
I wanted to think about how to really make the
BISOWN×sign exclusive pieces shine, and this is what I came up with.

To make the deep INDIGO stand out, I chose a black top
to create contrast in brightness while adding a chic touch.

The jacket is a new piece from kolor with great stretch.

It doesn't have the typical stiff feel of a jacket
and feels more like a throw-on piece,

and since a tight jacket paired with
this denim would be too formal,

I went for a jacket with a more relaxed fabric and cut.

Also, using a button-down shirt would feel too rigid,
so I used an OVERCOAT zip shirt to add interest
and neutralize it with the zip accent.

This look is all about balancing color, brightness,
and texture, which makes it my second choice!

Before I introduce the third look,
I’ll include this one that didn't make the cut.

The reason it was cut is because

I thought, "Don't you think I'm using... too many shirts?" lol

Finally, here is the last styling!!

jacket: BISOWN×sign
-sign Exclusive CO/HE USN
SHAWL COVERALL-

long T-shirt:KHOKI
-Hand-Embroidered
Stripe Long Sleeve T-Shirt-
col.Brown

pants: BISOWN×sign
-sign Exclusive CO/HE PURE
STRAIGHT DENIM-

A striped tee and denim set-up—there's no way
that look can be wrong.

It's the gold standard of casual.

Rather than using black stripes,

I personally chose to use warm, complementary colors
(hues directly opposite on the color wheel)
like yellow and orange to pop against the INDIGO.

By effectively using complementary colors,
the colors enhance each other, creating contrast.

The styling is simple, which is why I like to add variety with color.

I've introduced various ways to style this denim set-up,
but the beauty of denim is that it looks complete
without having to overthink it.

Each piece is easy to wear on its own,
and I can say with 120% certainty that you won't regret getting these!

The release finally starts on
1/31 (Sat) at 13:00
in-shop and online!!

How would you style these?

Let me know!
