BONE STRAP

DETAIL
Named the "Bone Strap" because the strap that secures the foot resembles a bone.
This shape is based on a shoe last designed for classic pumps.
Given the tongue-less design, the instep has been flattened to create long, straight lines along the side.
While composed with vintage women's footwear in mind, the last was designed and assembled to incorporate as many straight lines as possible, ensuring the overall aesthetic does not appear overly soft.


MATERIAL
Saddle calf leather from the French tannery D'Annonay (Dupuy). This top-tier leather features a combination tanning process (chrome + tannin) with an exquisite formula. It is characterized by its moderate grain firmness combined with the flexibility of the lower hide, allowing for beautiful aging, including the development of natural wear creases.
