Cotton Snow Hoodie

DETAIL
A piece inspired by hooded sweaters that were popular in the Nordic knitting scene around the 1940s and 1950s.
These were worn as sportswear for skiing, and since we wanted to be able to layer other items over them, we crafted this from 100% cotton rather than wool so it wouldn't get too hot.
Buttoned all the way up with the hood pulled up, it captures a nostalgic, vintage feel; leave the buttons open and wear it as a regular hoodie for a contemporary look.


MATERIAL
COTTON 100%
Made using long-staple cotton (cotton with a fiber length of 28mm to 34mm).
Since regular cotton has a fiber length of about 25mm, this yarn is finer, softer against the skin, and has a sweatshirt-like feel, designed with the hope that it can be worn year-round, not just in autumn and winter.
