Cotton Snow Hoodie

A piece inspired by hooded sweaters that were popular in the Nordic knitting scene around the 1940s and 1950s.
These items were worn as sportswear for skiing. Since they were designed for layering, they are made from 100% cotton rather than wool to prevent overheating.
Button it all the way up and pull up the hood for a nostalgic, vintage look, or wear it open like a standard hoodie for a contemporary style.


MATERIAL
COTTON 100%
Made using long-staple cotton (fibers between 28mm and 34mm in length).
Since regular cotton has a fiber length of about 25mm, this cotton is finer and softer against the skin. We used a sweatshirt-style yarn with the hope that it could be worn year-round, not just in the autumn and winter.
