A short jacket made using an original textile.
Through a specialized spinning process called semi-wet spinning, the fabric achieves a dry texture that combines both fluffiness and firmness.
The print features a design inspired by "flour sacks," which were once used to store flour.
Through the impression of simple, rustic fabric, the material evokes the "memories" and "traces of hands" of cloth that has been used repeatedly and accompanies daily life.
By tailoring it with modern contours, this piece serves as an intersection between the past and the present. It features washable cowhide leather trimming and is accented with large, irregular natural shell buttons.
The relaxed silhouette and cropped length create an aesthetic that straddles the line between craft and sophistication. As the linen is worn, it develops its own unique character, making this a jacket that grows along with the wearer.
The designer infused this piece with the sentiment: "Wearing the texture of memory on a modern body."
