The ultimate minimal metal frame presented by NOCHINO OPTICAL, bringing together the artisan skills of Sabae, Japan’s world-renowned holy land of eyewear.
By eliminating all ornamentation such as engraving and arabesque patterns, we have pursued a timeless and genderless functional beauty.

All frames are crafted from titanium, boasting both lightweight and high durability.
Specifically for the front rims, we deliberately used 0.9mm thick titanium instead of the 1.0mm thickness typically used in Sabae-made eyewear.
This achieves both a clean impression when viewed from the front and the necessary durability.

The temples use beta-titanium, which combines flexibility and resilience.
By bending supplely, they naturally fit the wearer’s face, providing a stress-free experience even during long hours of wear.
Additionally, the spoon-shaped temple tips balance aesthetic design with stability and comfort behind the ears.

For the hinge, the core of the frame, we adopted a "split-joint" (warichi) structure, a traditional method precision-cut from a single piece of metal. This embodies the robustness and beauty unique to handmade pieces by master craftsmen.

Furthermore, we have adopted cling-style pads (adjustable nose arms) and titanium nose pads.
The nose pads are made of allergy-free material; because these parts come into direct contact with the skin, we have focused on comfort and safety in every detail.

The frame shape is neither Wellington, Boston, nor square, but a unique silhouette derived by NOCHINO OPTICAL.

The inspiration comes from eyewear discovered at a vintage market in France.
From there, we elevated it into a universal shape that suits both Asian facial features and Western bone structures.
