An improved model based on the brand's signature SANSUI frame.
The front thickness of the SANSUI has been scaled up from 5mm to a robust 8mm.
A Boston-Wellington shape slightly larger than our signature NOCHINO model.

By adding extra thickness compared to standard frames, it suppresses stray light from the sides while creating the glamorous translucency and unique luxury inherent to plastic materials.
While providing an overwhelming sense of presence, the inner front is meticulously finished with a manual process called "hatsuri" (beveling) to add depth and dimension.
This also serves to conceal the thickness of prescription lenses when fitted.

Maintaining the design of all components, this is a mid-sized, unisex Asian-fit Boston-Wellington frame with enhanced three-dimensionality.
Calculated to suit the flatter nose bridges characteristic of Asians, it offers a fit that matches the vast majority of people.

Features adjustable metal nose pads (cling pads), which significantly influence comfort.
Crafted with the techniques of skilled artisans.
The nose pads, which stay in constant contact with the skin throughout the day, are made of high-quality, allergy-free titanium.

The rivet parts securing the hinges are finished using a "togidashi" (polished flush) method, where skilled artisans carefully hand-polish each piece one by one until the very end.

The 2-base lens, which symbolizes the NOCHINO OPTICAL brand, is neither flat nor a standard curve, but a beautiful surface reminiscent of vintage hand-ground glass lenses, exuding luxury with its radiant finish.
