Based on the US Military 1945 model 45-KHAKI CHINO, this item has been modified to be more slacks-like by adding tucks and a double-stitched hem.
The fabric is a denim weave using loosely twisted cotton for the warp and Tencel for the weft.
While it has a substantial feel, the combination of the loft and softness of the loosely twisted yarn with the luster and drape of Tencel results in a glossy, smooth outer fabric.
Washing it brings out even more drape and a supple texture.
It truly embodies the concept of "denim that feels like slacks," making it a meticulously crafted piece.
