The steer leather used here comes from male cattle that were castrated between 3 to 6 months of age and are over 2 years old. It is characterized by the thickness and strength unique to mature cattle, while also being relatively free of blemishes and having a beautiful appearance.
It is also extremely durable; in fact, it is commonly used for items such as baseball gloves.
