A steer leather jacket made using domestic cowhide.
It features a smooth, supple touch unique to aniline-finished leather, with a texture that is soft yet possesses a moderate sense of weight. The grainy look and the distinctive presence of the leather combine exquisitely to create an atmosphere unlike any other.
The steer leather used is from steers—male cattle castrated between 3 and 6 months of age and raised for over 2 years. It is characterized by the thickness and strength unique to mature cattle, while having relatively few blemishes and a beautiful appearance.
It is also extremely durable, commonly used for items such as baseball gloves.
