A short-length jacket reconstructed based on the 1st model denim jacket.
While retaining its linear and minimalist structure, the use of a loosely woven, gauze-like double-weave check fabric gives it a softness reminiscent of a quilt, as well as a rustic, airy feel.
By applying a garment wash, the fluff of the threads and irregularities in the weave are brought to the surface, giving it a pre-worn, "aged" texture.
By layering rough materials and traces of time onto a classic structure, we aimed for an appearance that feels like "layering clothes over memories."
The button placement and pocket details include slight "imperfections," a design that allows traces of the human hand and a sense of physical intimacy to reside within the unfinished tailoring.
Bridging the gap between product and texture, toughness and intimacy, this is a jacket that accompanies your memories—MIDTHINGS’ own interpretation of the 1st model.
