The browline style is one of the most iconic shapes associated with sunglasses.
It has long reigned as a universal and classical item, both in the West and here in Japan.
We have reconstructed the front tilt angle and fine dimensions of this browline style to create an exquisite fit that doesn't touch the cheeks, even for Asians with lower nose bridges.
Despite being an Asian fit, it is a silhouette that also fits Westerners and is suitable for all genders.

A major feature is the rim, the part that covers the lenses.
We use parts with "milgrain"—a traditional European decorative technique where small, continuous beads are stamped onto the edges or lines of precious metals, such as those found on wedding rings, as well as classical, delicate engraving patterns often used in antique jewelry. You can enjoy the look from three different viewing angles.

"Mil" comes from the Latin word "milgrain," meaning a thousand grains.
The number one thousand carries auspicious meanings such as eternity and longevity, making it a compelling detail for such a universal item.

The hinges connecting the frame and temples use a five-barrel design for a robust build.
Screws tailored to the specific purpose of each part are inserted by hand. The meticulous handiwork, a hallmark of Sabae craftsmen, is another key highlight.

The 2-base curve lens, which symbolizes the NOCHINO OPTICAL brand, is neither flat nor a standard curved type, but a beautiful surface that echoes the old hand-ground glass lenses, exuding a sense of luxury with its brilliant surface finish.
